The Chalet style two bedroom holiday home “Tochelukt” (that is the name the former owners gave it) is sited within the Himmelberg holiday park in the climatic health-resort Thalfang, about 5 miles from the Erbeskopf skiing area and about 22 miles away from Trier.

It is a beautiful holiday home with all the modern facilities you would expect situated within its own gardens in the wonderful Himmelberg holiday park. You’ll find two bedrooms, a living room, an open kitchen and a bathroom.

The park itself has an array of features such as reception, restaurant, beer cellar, bowling alleys, fitness studio with sauna, beauty farm, three court tennis hall, children’s activity centre, playground, crazy golf and shop.

There is also free entry to the superb indoor swimming pool just at the bottom of the road and the outdoor swimming complex in Morbach.

The house and park are in the picturesque village of Thalfang which is the Hunsrück disctrict of western Germany close to the borders of Luxembourg, France and Belgium in the foot hills of the Erbeskopf mountain, a mere 5 miles from the ski slopes. Ideal for beginners up to intermediate level for skiing in winter or an exhilarating toboggan ride, tremendous scenery and walks in the summer.

The village of Thalfang has three supermarkets, shops, numerous restaurants and a weekly market.

Near to the river Mosel and the historic city of Trier this area has something for everyone. From the old to the very young there is plenty to see and do, or perfect just to relax in the beautiful tranquility and clean air.

Enjoy long hot summers where the grapes for the famous German wines grow along the banks of the Mosel.

Or a white winter holiday relaxing with schnapps in front of a real log fire in the chalet after a day skiing or shopping at the Xmas markets.
